
This itinerant exhibition of Vik Muniz (b. Sao Paulo, Brazil 1961, lives and works in New York) is the largest ever dedicated to the artist. This event presents a retrospective on one of the most acclaimed Brazilians in the international art scene. The exhibition includes more than 120 large works covering from the beginning of his career, in the late 1980's, to the present in a collection of portrait photo-collages creating using unexpected kinds of material like: chocolate, caviar, diamonds, sugar, peanut butter, garbage, soil, dust, and paper to create amusing and sometimes comic portraits.
