This volume focusses on the plethora of academic research that has been carried out over the past twenty years with a specific link to the Jesuitica collections at the Maurits Sabbe Library KU Leuven. The selection comprises a great variety of topics: history, missions, librarianship, provenance research, botany, art, geography and science. Over these years the Jesuitica Project always strived in various ways to facilitate research on the Jesuitica collections that are currently preserved in the Maurits Sabbe Library. This book illustrates the great wealth and diversity of these collections, offering unexpected possibilities for Jesuit research and beyond.
