This book introduces Tui-na, Chinese therapeutic manual manipulation, and teaches veterinarians how to apply these techniques to our animal patients. Tui-na, also known as An-mo, is used to treat and prevent disease, and utilizes various manual techniques applied to acupoints and meridians, as well as limb-stretching movements. Tui-na can regulate meridians, soothe joints and sinews, promote circulation of Qi and Blood, balance Zang-fu organs, and strengthen the body’s resistance.
