My father is dead. He ran into a telephone pole and died. An unlucky man who had worked in vain all his life, a Korean commie, spent the first half of his life as a guerrilla and in prison, and the second half of his life meddling in the countryside. He was a worrywart, a man who wanted to serve the people but was disliked all his life, and thus ended his life as a serious man. Many people came to the funeral. Broken relatives, prestigious officials, prisoners released from prison, rebellious delinquent girls...... from seventy to eighty years old, down to teenagers, love him, hate him, disagree with each other, incompatible with each other, all gathered in this small condolence hall, do not interfere with each other in their own way to mourn.
