Tales Of An Alcoholic are the adventures of Detective Chief Inspector Sauce of Thames Valley Police and his daily grind of trying to solve crime whilst keeping his drinking habit up, will it help him or hinder him? will he manage to find Dr Partridge's murderer? or, will he find another pub? Based loosely on TV's Inspector Morse starring John Thaw, but a nod to all detective shows in general.
