This book talks about African spirituality as a major anchor in resisting colonialism and spirit injury. African spirituality is itself anchored in Indigenous African knowledge. Orality gives us the opportunity to bring out the subjugated knowledge that colonialism had tried to suppress. It also tells about resistance to colonialism throughout the period of colonization. There is also racism in the Indian segregated school that was set up by the British colonial administration. Experiences of racism and spirit injury in Uganda and Canada by an Indigenous African student is also captured and documented in this major research.
