Author Description

A compilation of haiku poems written in English by North American poets between 2000 and 2010 in the genre that originally became popular in Japan in the 17th and 18th centuries. The editors focused on typically haikuesque sensibilities plus fleeting remarks, cosmic wonders, whimsies, dissonances, gritty and elegant meldings with nature and veritable koans.
