About the author:/artist: When asked ¨what do you do?¨ Mary Louise usually answers that she designs Counted Cross Stitch Needlework. She owns Eventide Designs, in Plymouth, MA. However when asked, ¨what do you do for fun?¨ her answer would be to paint. She has been taking Sumi-e chinese brush painting classes for several years and dabbles in writing Haiku. The paintings in this book were all done in class and a ¨chop¨ was applied to some of them.
