6" x 9" print versionVolume 10 of this Adult coloring book series Mandalas perhaps was the predominant image that started the Adult Coloring Book sensation, a few years back. Mandala is a circular design and as such represents wholeness, with any part being equidistant from the center of the circle. This symmetry or balance within the drawings are oft considered as peaceful and relaxing to the human eye. It was no wonder then that these mandalas were used as a part of art therapy. The repeated coloring patterns, soon captured thousands and also brought about feelings of peace and tranquility for the adults coloring these symmetrical patterns. And so came the desire for more and more books to be employed to find rest and tranquility in a world of chaos and constant multi-tasking behaviour.
