Phaidon produced a series of these giant art paperbacks, with other titles on: British painting, Japanese prints, animals in art, travel posters, painters of fantasy, and many more titles. This particular volume, on Marine painting and painters, is simply splendid. The information on each painter is excellent and gives readers a nice overview of some very gifted painters indeed.
