The health care system in the United States has never been as complicated, disjointed and in dire need of a complete overhaul as it is today. Ever since health insurance companies transitioned from non-profit to for profit status, we have seen administrative costs soar. Dead End Medicine clearly sheds insight and not only from a doctors perspective, but from the thousands of patients that have fought, won and died because of the fatal flaws we have come to begrudgingly accept. This book is more than a discussion on where we are today and where we are headed. It will give the reader a clear understanding of how and why we have strayed so far off the mark of providing true health care. More importantly, the book includes a clear and non partisan plan to get back on track towards affordability, accountability and responsibility.
