This book uses the Bible to teach people wisdom and help them discern the truth. The Bible says that 'we have the mind of Christ'. This book shows how: innovation, systems analysis, reasoning, engineering problem solving, and the scientific method all come from the Bible and are Christian thought processes. First, the nature of truth is explained, so people can exercise discernment and analyze data more successfully. Then various poisonous thought processes that prevent people from using wisdom and discernment are highlighted. Finally, the structure of truth is explained. When people structure truth, it leads to new conclusions and insights which we call innovation and creativity. Knowing the structure of truth also allows people to solve problems more successfully. Christians are commanded by scripture to 'renew and transform our minds.' God expects us to change the way we think so that we can help people better and solve more problems. This book outlines various ways Christians can yield to Jesus, so that the Holy Spirit will work to renew, transform, and free their minds from the counter-productive ways of this world. Lastly, the book explains different ways that God speaks to us. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us and speaks to every Christian. God is already speaking to most Christians, but they simply do not know how to discern the ways He speaks. This book gives people a very practical guide to knowing what God is saying to us.
