A key part of IARC's mission is to provide accurate, high-quality data on the burden of cancer worldwide. For over 25 years, the Scientific Publications series has presented these data in print. IARC CancerBases, launched in December 1996, allow direct access to IARC's extensive cancer databases in an electronic format.
