More than anything, he longs to be human and to be accepted by his human family. His curse will only be broken if he can find a woman who loves him despite his monstrous appearance. It's just his luck he should fall for a beautiful princess. Only if he can convince her of his gentle heart, despite his beastly appearance, will he earn her affection and possibly break the curse. When that plan doesn't work, what else is left for a monster to do? This is one of many stand-alone short stories and novellas that take place in The Chronicles of Forget-Me-Not Forest.
