Designed for a one-term sophomore through senior level course in geography, this text describes and analyzes locational patterns of various economic and urban activities, where those activities locate, and why. By combining the location/spatial interaction approach with a description of economic patterns, the text strikes a balance between the dominant theories of the last three decades.
