THE INLAND LADIES is a collection of published and unpublished stories about Midwestern women who come from such towns as Chicago, Omaha, and Mason City, Iowa. The stories advance through the decades, exploring lives in the last half of the 20th century. The first story begins in 1949, the last story is set in 2004.
