Melgaard entered the Norwegian art scene in the ‘90s with expressionistic paintings, sculptures and installations staged between fiction and reality. For more then fifteen years he has been exhibiting his visions in galleries and museums, provoking extreme reactions. About the Author Gunnar B. Kvaran, Hanne Beate Ueland, and Grete Årbu are curators at the Astrup Fernley Museum, Oslo.
