Author Description

Although Marwa and Ahmad live in a country that is at war, the two children continue to lead a somewhat normal life. Until one day, when they are playing soccer, Ahmad picks up a small yellow bottle that turns out to be a bomb. The explosion leaves Marwa scarred and cut, but Ahmad loses one hand and one leg. This is a story of the effects of war on children, told from child's point of view. A must-have for all schools.
