When fire destroys the Lundy's barn, Winnis is injured trying to get the animals to safety. Confined to the hospital with no company, she becomes friends with the Englisher Samuel Miller. When Winnie returns home, she finds that her brother has suspicions about the fire. Will all this upset their lives?
