Author Description

Dead Man Walking is a poetic journey through the author's world of facing trauma. The poetry often times is facing a journey of darkness where each poem begins, though upon accepting the challenges (which have evolved over many years), the struggles tend to lessen and the rewards are benevolent. At times nature's images are painted across the written page to explore the possibility of coming to understand the healing properties amongst the beauty of not only a metaphorical landscape but of nature as well. This is the author's first book, however, he has been writing since 1998 at a humble attempt to discover a world of peace amongst severe anguish from the pains life often times will bring our way. Writing of the tragedies in his life has helped overcome the hardships and suffering and has perpetuated his life in a much more positive lifestyle. In doing so he feels now that peace, harmony and comfort have been embraced within his heart.
