Product Description Painter Gunther Forg spent seven years investigating a sculptural argument that began with Rodin and exists between the classical sculptural elements of the torso and the fragment. Forg's picturesque explorations took place through watercolors and gouaches, on different sized sheets of paper, in the colorful richness of the works reproduced in this book. About the Author Gunther Forg was born in 1952 in Germany. He exhibits at museums across Europe, showing work in a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. He is perhaps best known for his monochromatic paintings. Forg works in Switzerland.
