Author Description

For more than 20 years, Pam Young has been driving overland between the UK and Mali in West Africa, initially in a Land Rover called HRBY. It's a distance of 6,500 km, through mainly harsh desert terrain. In this book, she relates some of her adventures on the road and shares a collection of photographs of the many development projects she has been able to establish in both Mali and Mauritania through her Village Ventures charity.
