Paul Crawford's senior year of high school is quickly coming to a close. While his classmates start a twisted wager to see who will die before graduation, Paul concerns himself with more serious matters: building up the courage to ask the new girl at school out on a date. Described as "weird" by everyone, including Paul's best-friend Matt Wexler, Fay is an enigma with lapis lazuli colored hair and a tragic past. Then one reckless weekend fate brings Paul, Fay, and Wex together, changing their lives forever.
