Soybean crushing capacity to be 585 million bushel per annum, including capacities of new plants. Based on this estimate, the soybean industry operated at only about three-fourths of capacity during the 1963-64 processing season. Soybean processors have been expanding their mill facilities along with the growth in the U. S.
