This is Markus Conner. He is a man Who has become fed up with the way the world works. While searching for an isolated place to live off the grid in Alaska, He discovers such a place, and quite by accident he discovers that there is gold on his new land. But even here in the middle of nowhere, Markus has to deal with people and the occasional claim jumper and trespassers. Read along as Markus tries to rebuild his life in the wilds of Alaska.
