<p>Lung function testing has become standard practice in the confirmation of a diagnosis, the evaluation of the severity of respiratory impairment, the assessment of therapy response and the follow-up in patients with various cardiorespiratory disorders. In its consideration of pulmonary function testing, this <i>Monograph</i> contributes significantly to a better understanding of the pathophysiological processes that underlay various diseases and contribute to the morbidity of patients.</p>
