This volume contains a collection of works presented at the 1993 Nitric Oxide-Roles in Neuronal Communication and Neurotoxicity Symposium held in Shizuoka, Japan. It presents a current review on the roles of nitric oxide in the nervous system and contributes extensively to the scholarship in this field.
