This book describes the establishment of The Eli Jackson Cemetery and the historical significance of the Eli Jackson Ranch since 1865. It offers a brief description of the Eli Jackson family and the roles that each of them had with regards to early ranching communities in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
