Gregory Henriquez is part of a new generation of architects proclaiming the dangers of the profession serving as an instrument of private interest, of becoming consultants for hire. The role of the architect in present day society is unclear. Henriquez believes there is an urgent need to re-examine the role of ethics, activism and critical commentary in contemporary architectural practise.
