Author Description

Lionel lives with his sister and his sick cat in a drab and dangerous neighbourhood. When Lillith goes missing, Lionel begins to sink deeper and deeper into the alternate reality of a video game, where his warrior alter-ego Ludi begins a heroic quest. Lionel becomes so ingrossed by the game that he begins to forget his childhood memories. But when Lillith returns, all the pain and cruelty of his family comes flooding back. Pressured by his boss, Lionel gets involved in crime and, struggling with reality, tries to keep a grip on the person he really is, inside and outside of the game.
