Author Description

Timmy Williams, 12, and his best friend Dukie Brooks, 14, are fascinated by moving lights they see at night in the empty wooded Lot across the street from Timmy's house. The mysterious Lot is protected by thick thorn bushes that the boys must overcome to enter it. They discover incredible plants, a skeleton, and a secret behind a tree in the darkest part of the Lot that changes their lives forever. The boys take an oath that they will never reveal the Lot's secret. Through it all, Timmy and Dukie form a friendship that lasts a lifetime.
