This collection of 20 contributions is the first of its kind to address the issue of how ethnicity and cultural interpretations can influence the perception of dementias. The authors provide background information, examine how the victims and their family members respond or adapt to the challenges that follow, and cover epidemiology and neuropsychological assessment procedures, and techniques for managing dementia.
