Over the years, I’ve mentored many of young women who are struggling to learn how to get it right in a society where chances are not often handed to you. With all the challenges and expectations that they are faced with, many of them lack the mentorship, support, and family structure needed to navigate the trenches of our society. Without these proper tools, young women are limited in their opportunities for personal and professional growth, which makes it more difficult for them to achieve their full potential.<br/><br/>Knowing the issue they face, I thought it was important for me to address it by giving them the information they need from a father’s perspective. I want young girls to know that they don’t have to play the damsel in distress and that they can strive for greatness. However, that strive for greatness means changing your attitude, changing the way you think about money and changing the way you think about guys. When young girls understand the importance of investing in themselves, it opens the door for opportunities, peace, and self-awareness.<br/><br/>This book, 10 Lessons Young Women Should Know, is my way as a father, to help young girls who lack a father or father figure in their life to understand this society.
