Excerpt from History of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, Middle Spring, Pa;, 1738-1900 <p>It was the desire of my husband, Gilbert E. Swope, author of A History of the Big Spring Presbyterian Church, that I should publish the data he collected regarding the Middle Spring congregation, arranging the records according to the plan be outlined, thus completing, what to him was a labor of love.
