welcome to my world and this new voice of mine<br/><br/>i have had parkinsons disease (pd) since 1988<br/>and have also been dealing with clinical depression (cd)<br/>for most of my life<br/><br/>in july 1995 i joined the internet<br/>and then i joined an online pd support group<br/>(cleverly disguised as a cyber-family)<br/><br/>both events changed my life<br/><br/>and then i discovered that i love writing<br/>including all the learning that is buried in it for me<br/><br/>as a result, this volume is comprised of over 150 e-mail messages<br/>sent to my pd support group pals online (aka my cyber-siblings)<br/>as well as to my family and friends<br/><br/>these messages unprecedented (in me at least)<br/>poetry and prose pieces along with a few humour items<br/>just to keep us all on our toes<br/><br/>speaking of digits, most punctuation and upper case characters<br/>went awol in my early qwerty years mainly due to pd<br/>and its effects on my peripherals<br/><br/>i dont miss them one bit<br/>and i dont think you will either<br/>if you come along and join me on my sixteen year trek<br/>into the cyber-light
