This is a revised edition in which the author has written a critical introduction to human personality for students, academics and professional psychologists. Avoiding the catalogue of theories format, it relates theories to each other at different levels of behaviour, moving inwards from surface level descriptions. Analytic case studies apply these levels of understanding to areas of special interest such as sexuality and aggression.
