This book is the first comprehensive presentation of the largest collection of Beat Art outside the United States and San Francisco.The collection is located along the southern coast of Norway, more precisely housed at the Kristiansand Cathedral School and the University of Agder (Wennesland Collection). The test is written by art historian Frida Forsgren, who has immersed herself in the individual art works. Forsgren places Beat Art in a broad cultural and historical context.
