A city proposing to host a mega-sport event faces multi-dimensional challenges. The prescribed standards and attributes of the international sports organisations for such events have to be convincingly met, including the housing of the athletes in a secure Village. The process of understanding and listing the parameters and to assist compliance and sustainable after-use for the Athletes' Village are the focus of this Handbook.
