Population ageing in East and Southeast Asia is proceeding faster than anywhere else in the world to date. By early next century many of the countries in this region will have relatively high proportions of people aged over 60 and this will have important implications for services and care. This book looks at ways in which territories and countries in the area are coping with ageing and changing service needs. This book is designed to be of interest to research gerontologists.
