
A funny, poignant memoir about one volunteer EMT’s years on a rescue squad in rural New Jersey. RonCody was a biostatistician and professor at Rutgers Medical School when a CPR class led him to join hislocal rescue squad as a volunteer. For the next 28 years, Ron answered calls for help from hiscommunity, including his neighbors, friends, and, on one occasion, his own son.
