In this retelling of a traditional Kutenai Indian folk story, one day rabbit runs through a meadow. Fox sees rabbit running, so he runs too. Then Bear sees Fox running, so he runs too. Finally, Moose sees Bear running, so he runs too. Fox, Bear, and Moose do not know why the others are running, but they are sure it must be something terrible. Only rabbit knows why he is running, and he's not telling.
