After spreading his father's ashes on an island near Key West, Brody Wahl joins a celebration of life in town, runs into friends and enemies, gets a dire warning that he may be in danger, and gets wind of a buried cache of gold bars.<br/>A few days later, a family member comes to town, looking for Brody's father. After getting the news Bric had passed, Brody felt obligated to host his family member on his houseboat.
