
This is The Peace Journal's first guided journal. We hope it becomes an avenue for reflection, insight and hope as you travel through 2019. At The Peace Journal we lovingly refer to this book as a "semi-guided" journal. This reflects the prompts and cues the journal gives the writer on a monthly and daily basis. This is balanced by the majority of the pages which are open for self-directed exploration. After all, the best thing about journaling is the freedom to express yourself without barriers and limitations! Here is what to expect in this journal: The first few pages are devoted to a reflection of 2018. This is where you can explore challenges, accomplishments, and personal narratives throughout the year. Inversely, the next few pages are set aside to explore hopes and dreams for this upcoming year. Every month has a main page with a monthly mantra for inspiration, reflections on the previous month, goals to focus on in the current month and prompts to plan steps towards your goal. We provide a mix of inspiration, as well as prompts towards goals, for ultimate impact. Every day of the year has its own dedicated set of pages for reflection, and there are only two guided prompts each day: What you are grateful for, and what you learned. These prompts are special and deserve a prominent place however the main focus continues to be personal exploration.
