Author Description

The FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network) is a European instrument for evaluating the income of agricultural holdings and the impacts of the Common Agricultural Policy. The farms included in the Dutch FADN are a sample of agricultural and horticultural companies from the Agricultural Census. This report explains the background of the sample and the developments concerning the population and sample of 2020.The emphasis in this report is on the evaluation of the selection plan and the quality of the resulting sample.
