About the Author Martina Horáková Martina Horáková is the Head of Seminars and Advisory at Central Banking Publications (CBP), where she has worked since 2007. She oversees and organises public policy seminars, conferences and roundtables for senior policymakers from central banks, ministries of finance and financial regulatory agencies around the world. In her advisory role, Martina is conducting the first in CBP s benchmarking survey series on the topic of central bank governance, and she also edits CBP books and occasionally contributes to the Central Banking Journal. Before joining CBP, Martina gained a master s in development economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and also studied economics at the Freie Universität Berlin. Emma Glass Emma Glass is editorial assistant at Central Banking Publications (CBP), where she oversees the commissioning, editorial and production processes on the portfolio of directory and book titles. She is co-editor of the Central Bank Directory, now in its 26th edition, and has worked on books on topics such as sovereign investment and reserve management. Emma has a degree in English literature from the University of Exeter.
