Approaching the private life from an educational perspective constitutes a challenging route through the modern science. Following the exciting route, connections have been created between education and multiple dimensions of privacy. Thus, a “new education” has emerged in the current landscape of pedagogy: education for private life. Its psycho-pedagogical substantiation constitutes a constant challenge for the educational actors. This book initiates the dynamic process of conceptualizing the “new education” as a response to contemporary world issues which affect the private life. The message of education for privacy is the one of a pedagogy for autonomy and personal development. The new education could be a possible way to discourage irresponsible individualism and encouraging the responsible one.
