For now their voices were so loud that the sea trembled, and some oysters near by turned over in their beds, wondering at the clamor. Bridget shook her frying-pan at the house. "Ye villains!" she shouted. "I'll cook your dinner, but not because I wouldn't rather see you all starve. It's for you, Misther Jones," she added, "I'll hurry it along.
