The Simla Agreement of 1972 was a historic event by any standard. Professors Chari and Cheema have painstakingly recreated the events and processes that led to the Agreement and the various nuances of each development. This is the first objective effort to understand the complex issues involved at the Conference and capturing in their unique ways 'the spirit of Simla', from both sides of the border.
