These four volumes comprise half of an ambitious eight-volume set, the aim of which is to analyze the changing spatial distribution of first and second generation immigrants in Australia; to produce a series of maps showing these patterns together with accompanying analytical and descriptive text of each map; and to compile this material into a set of comprehensive ethnic atlases for each state and territory and a summary volume for the nation as a whole.
