Author Description

The Tear Drop is the story of an anonymously amnesiac figure, whom after awakening alone in a veritable wilderness, resolves to go forth and uncover his identity. Subsequently, in route, he meets a beautifully attractive lady that is nothing more than a twirling cloud of dust. After detailing his dilemma to the conscious visage, she explains to the lost man how he can regain his memory; by retrieving her tear drop "beyond that wood that lies to the south, beyond the world where you can venture. There you will find it. It is mine. I left it there years ago before I was." And from there the reluctant seeker befriends a temporally confused being, a resurrecting farmer's wife, a queen of slumber, two pagan gods and the tear drop itself, his agent of enlightenment and hopefully that which holds the key to his understanding.
